iPhone 8 Screen Replacement

Tools Required
- Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
- Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
- Phillips #000 screwdriver
- Suction cup
- Plastic pry tools / spudger
- Tweezers
- iPhone 8 LCD replacement screen
Replacement Process
- Power off the iPhone
- Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
- Use suction cup to gently lift display from bottom
- Screen hinges at top - open like a book
- Disconnect battery (on right side)
- Remove display brackets and disconnect cables
- Transfer Home Button/Touch ID to new screen
- Transfer earpiece and sensors
- Install new display
- Test Touch ID before sealing
Touch ID Warning
⚠️ CRITICAL: The Home Button with Touch ID is paired to your iPhone. You MUST transfer your original Home Button to the new screen. A replacement button will work as a button but Touch ID will NOT function.
