How Quick Note Works
Floating note that auto-saves to Notes app. Auto-links to the app/website you were in. Take a Quick Note while reading a website → note has a link back to that page.
iPad — Pencil Corner Gesture
While in any app, drag Apple Pencil from bottom-right corner toward the middle. Floating Quick Note appears. Write/sketch. Tap outside to dismiss — auto-saves.
Mac — Hot Corner
System Settings → Desktop & Dock → Hot Corners. Pick a corner, set to 'Quick Note'. Move mouse to that corner = Quick Note opens.
Smart Backlinks
The killer feature: Quick Notes you take while reading websites or in apps auto-link back. Later when you're back in Safari or that app, an overlay shows 'You took a note here'.
