First-Time Setup

  1. Mac: macOS Sequoia required (free upgrade from Sonoma)
  2. iPhone: iOS 18 required (free upgrade)
  3. Same Apple ID on both
  4. Mac Launchpad → iPhone Mirroring app
  5. Confirm Bluetooth + Wi-Fi on both

Privacy

Mirroring requires Face ID + Apple ID auth. Cannot be done remotely. iPhone screen stays black during mirroring (other people in room can't see). All data routes through encrypted Apple ID infrastructure.
