iPhone Display Zoom Not Working - Fix Guide

Makes app icons, text, and UI elements larger system-wide:

1. Settings → Display & Brightness
2. Tap Display Zoom (at bottom)
3. Choose Larger Text for zoomed view
4. Tap Done, then Use Zoomed

Note: iPhone will restart to apply the change.

Not all iPhones support Display Zoom:

• Supported: iPhone 6 Plus and larger models
• Not Supported: iPhone SE, iPhone mini models
• Check if your model has the option in Display & Brightness

On newer iPhones (14/15/16), look for "Display Zoom" at the bottom of Display & Brightness settings.

Magnifies any part of the screen with gestures:

1. Settings → Accessibility
2. Tap Zoom
3. Toggle Zoom ON

How to Use:

• Zoom in/out: Double-tap with three fingers
• Move around: Drag with three fingers
• Change magnification: Double-tap with three fingers, then drag up/down

1. Check Zoom Region

1. Settings → Accessibility → Zoom
2. Tap Zoom Region
3. Choose Full Screen Zoom or Window Zoom

2. Adjust Maximum Zoom Level

1. Settings → Accessibility → Zoom
2. Drag Maximum Zoom Level slider
3. Higher values allow more magnification

3. Enable Zoom Controller

Adds an on-screen button for easier control:

1. Settings → Accessibility → Zoom
2. Enable Show Controller
3. Use the floating button to zoom

4. Check Follow Focus

1. Settings → Accessibility → Zoom
2. Enable Follow Focus
3. Zoom will follow text cursor and selections

If screen is stuck zoomed in:

1. Double-tap with three fingers to zoom out
2. If that doesn't work, drag with three fingers to navigate
3. Go to Settings → Accessibility → Zoom → toggle OFF

If completely stuck, force restart: Press Volume Up, Volume Down, then hold Side button until Apple logo appears.

If Display Zoom isn't available, try these:

• Larger Text: Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text
• Bold Text: Settings → Display & Brightness → Bold Text
• Increase Contrast: Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size

1. Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone
2. Tap Reset → Reset All Settings
3. Re-enable zoom features after reset
