📋 Supported iPhones

- iPhone 14 / 14 Plus / 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max
- iPhone 15 / 15 Plus / 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max
- iPhone 16 / 16 Plus / 16 Pro / 16 Pro Max
Older iPhones do NOT support Cinematic Mode.
✅ How to Access Cinematic Mode
- Open Camera app
- Swipe to Cinematic mode (between Video and Slo-Mo)
- Tap record — iPhone automatically tracks focus
- Tap subjects to change focus manually while recording
🔧 Troubleshooting
1. Cinematic Mode Missing?
- Make sure your iPhone model supports it (iPhone 13 or newer)
- Update to latest iOS: Settings → General → Software Update
- Cinematic appears between Video and Slo-Mo in Camera
2. Blur Not Appearing?
- Distance: Subject should be 2-8 feet from camera
- Lighting: Needs adequate light — low light reduces effect
- Subject: Works best with people, pets, objects with clear edges
- Background: Background should be noticeably further than subject
3. Focus Not Tracking?
- Face must be clearly visible to camera
- If face is obscured, tap to manually set focus
- Fast movement may lose tracking — move steadily
4. Restart Camera App
- Swipe up from bottom, find Camera app
- Swipe up on Camera to close it
- Reopen Camera and try Cinematic mode
5. Restart iPhone
- Hold Side + Volume buttons
- Slide to power off
- Wait 30 seconds, turn back on
🎬 Editing Cinematic Videos
You can change focus after recording:
- Open video in Photos app
- Tap Edit
- Play video and tap to change focus points
- Adjust depth effect intensity (f-number)
- Tap Done to save
📊 Resolution & Storage
- iPhone 13: Records at 1080p 30fps
- iPhone 14/15/16 Pro: Can record 4K 24/30fps
- Cinematic videos use more storage than regular video
- Check storage: Settings → General → iPhone Storage
⚠️ Known Limitations
- Doesn't work in very low light
- Fast motion can confuse tracking
- Very busy backgrounds may not blur well
- Small or detailed objects may have edge artifacts
- Cannot use with all video modes (no slow-mo cinematic)
🔄 Reset Camera Settings
- Settings → Camera
- Tap "Preserve Settings" and review options
- To fully reset: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone
- Reset → Reset All Settings
