Cleaning AirPods Properly
Dirty AirPods sound bad. Monthly cleaning ritual:
- Remove silicone tips (Pro models) — wash with soapy water
- Brush speaker grilles with soft anti-static brush
- Q-tip with 70% isopropyl alcohol on the OUTSIDE of the mesh (never push into mesh)
- Wipe charging contacts on stems and inside case
- Air dry 30 minutes before reassembling
