5. Check that home button, volume buttons, and silent switch areas align properly

🔗 Step 8: Apply Adhesive and Seal

1. Apply pre-cut adhesive strips to the frame perimeter, following the kit instructions
2. Some kits use roll adhesive — apply carefully, pressing firmly as you go
3. Slowly lower the screen onto the frame, starting at the top
4. Press firmly around all edges to activate the adhesive
5. Apply consistent pressure for 30-60 seconds to ensure a strong bond

🔩 Step 9: Replace Pentalobe Screws

1. Reinstall the two pentalobe screws at the bottom of the phone
2. Tighten firmly but do not over-tighten — you'll feel the resistance increase
3. Let the adhesive set for 2-4 hours before using the phone heavily

Power on and test:

2. Test the touchscreen across all areas — tap corners, center, and edges
