🚨 Important Notes:
- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 use DIFFERENT screens

Tools Required
- Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
- Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
- Phillips #000 screwdriver
- Suction cup
- Plastic pry tools / spudger
- Tweezers
- Heat gun or iOpener
- Magnetic mat

Replacement Steps
- Power off the iPhone completely
- Remove the two pentalobe screws at the bottom
- Heat edges to soften adhesive
- Apply suction cup and gently pry open
- Open display from left side like a book
- Disconnect battery before any other work
- Remove display cable bracket screws
- Disconnect display flex cables
- Transfer Face ID/earpiece module to new screen
- Reassemble in reverse order
- Test before sealing (Face ID, touch, display)
Protecting the Steel Frame
⚠️ Stainless steel scratches easily:
- Use plastic tools only - avoid metal
- Consider masking tape on frame edges
- Work on a soft, clean surface
