Tools Required

  • Pentalobe screwdriver (P2)
  • Tri-point Y000 screwdriver
  • Phillips #000 screwdriver
  • Small suction cup
  • Fine plastic pry tools
  • Fine-tip tweezers
  • Heat gun or iOpener
  • Magnification (helpful)
  • iPhone 12 mini replacement screen

Replacement Process

  1. Power off the iPhone
  2. Remove two pentalobe screws at bottom
  3. Heat edges to soften adhesive
  4. Open from LEFT side (like a book)
  5. Disconnect battery first
  6. Remove display cable brackets
  7. Disconnect display cables
  8. Transfer Face ID/earpiece module
  9. Install new display
  10. Test before sealing
