📋 Steps Overview

  1. Power off the iPad completely
  2. Heat the edges to soften adhesive (2-3 minutes per side)
  3. Use suction cup and picks to slowly separate screen
  4. Work around the entire perimeter carefully
  5. Disconnect battery first (safety)
  6. Disconnect display cables
  7. Transfer home button/Touch ID if applicable
  8. Install new screen with fresh adhesive
  9. Test before fully sealing
