AirPods Pro 2 Not Charging

🧹 Step 1: Clean the Charging Contacts
Dirty contacts are the #1 cause:
- Remove AirPods Pro 2 from case
- Look inside the case for the three gold charging contacts (on each side and bottom)
- Wipe each contact with a dry cotton swab or microfiber cloth
- Check AirPods Pro earbuds for gold contact pins — wipe those too
- Place AirPods back in case and check for charging indicator (amber light)
Does the amber light appear? You're done. If not, continue.

🔌 Step 2: Try a Different Charging Cable and Adapter
- Use a different USB-C cable and power adapter
- Try different outlets and USB hubs
- Try charging case wirelessly if available (newer models)
📱 Step 3: Forget and Re-Pair with iPhone
- On iPhone, open Settings → Bluetooth
- Find AirPods Pro 2 and tap the info button (i)
- Select Forget This Device
- Place case near iPhone with lid open
- Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until it blinks white
- Follow pairing prompts on iPhone
⚙️ Step 4: Update AirPods Firmware
- Open Settings → Bluetooth on iPhone
- Tap info (i) next to AirPods
- Check for firmware update and install if available
- Keep case and iPhone close during update
🏥 Step 5: Check Case Battery
- Place AirPods in case and close lid
- Wait 30 seconds — does charging indicator light appear?
- If case has no battery (no LED light), the case battery is dead and needs replacement
